@Hendrix - they found them when I had my 3 monthly PET (they did think I may have active mets though because I have my ctDNA measured every month as part of a research project, and the ctDNA had began to rise). I still have one minute spot on my pubic bone. They didn't zap this spot because they were not sure it was real and if they did zap it, it would mean my radiation dose would have been higher than they would like. So will have another PET in 3.5 months to make sure the ones they zapped are gone and to see what is happening with the remaining spot. It the remaining spot is real it will be time for a change in meds (and I am fast running out of oral options)!

@Lisa1407 did they find the mets through general check or you were having pain? I hope your doing ok apart from the fatigue xx

Good luck for the 15th @Hendrix. Can't believe how bad your year has been and it isn't even half over. I have had some progression of mets in my hips after being in remission for more than two years. As they were discrete, small lessions I was able to have stereotactic radiation which was four high doses (2 days, weekend in between and 2 days). I finished about two weeks ago and I am still falling asleep whenever I get the opportunity. xxx

@Giovanna_BCNA I got my results last Friday from the GP who has forwarded the results to neurologist who I see on the 15th April...that is what makes me nervous. I’ve also sent the report and images to my Breast Care Nurse who is going to get someone at the hospital to look them over. The waiting game is the worst! 🙃

Dear @hendrix, Let me think ..... positive, positive......well here's a little adventure - I have kept my hair short after BC, going to a lovely barber about once every six weeks for a number 6 buzz cut. But now our barber has closed; so I ventured into BigW and bought a hair cutting set with a shaver. The shaver is charging right now, and tomorrow my husband will cut my hair.

@iserbrown I was completely shocked when I went grocery shopping yesterday and when I turned the corner the shelves were full of toilet paper...it’s amazing the extras we pickup thanks to BC...I added cardiologist and now neurologist so long it’s all good I don’t mind collecting...F Cancer!!
