Stabilising surgery
Hi, I'm just wondering if any of you lovely ladies that have bony mets( in particular hip/femur) have had surgery to stabilise? I have an ortho appointment tomorrow and that's what we will be discussi...
So I have an update, upgraded to a cat 1 - surgery date is the 28th March. But today, my orthopaedic surgeon rang me, after speaking to another orthopaedic dr(who specialises in bone mets &bone cancers) suggested that I have radiation therapy. I was hoping to keep radiation therapy for later. I would prefer to just have the surgery.
