I have just been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in my spine, it seems to be just in one spot L1 however I'm still waiting on PET scan results. It all feels a bit weird not sure how too feel ...
So sorry to hear you have joined our elite group. I was diagnosed with bone mets three and a half years ago. Had many more than you appear to have (ie several spots in pelvis and femur). Interestingly, before diagnosis, I had been seeing a physio for 12 months for hip pain. Don't worry about taking too many pain meds. Once you are put on treatment that works, you will find that the lesion you have will shrink and the pain will become less. I have gone from not being able to sleep 3 years ago to not needing pain meds at all. xxx
