My mum has been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in the liver

Hi Karen I have been dealing with secondaries to my liver since Oct 2012. I have been on Abraxane chemo which gave me 12 months before the tumours started to grow back and I'm now on Exemesten and Everolimus. I know that I have a shortened lifespan because it's in my liver but there are many treatments. To date, my quality of life hasn't been too bad apart from nausea and tiredness as well as loss of appetite. My father died of a stroke when I was 18 and my mother died of breast cancer when I was 24. I have empathy with how you are feeling. Enjoy each day with your family.
