Liver and Brain mets
In Sept 2018 I was diagonse with liver mets from breast cancer I had in Sep 2015. Six months of chemo saw good results until Wednesday when a routine CT scan revealed liver cancer returning and also mets in the brain. I was devastated as I had no other symptoms. I start full brain radiation Tuesday week, for 5 days and then 2 weeks later back on chemo. I could have handled the liver coming back but the brain mets is very frightening especially with the limited survival rate. I worry so much about my 2 girls (19 and 21 as well as my husband) There is so much out on the Net and not enough that is positive when you are just getting over the shock. Please help me feel better or suggest what to read or do much appreciated and feeling very frightened

- Does anyone have problem with sinus pain? Any solution to get rid of it. Just spent last 4 days in hospital with a fever. Much better now as at home. Doing pretty well otherwise. All the best to you all Canisha -
- Just had the best day so far, they drained 2.4 litres of fluid from stomach I was so happy I cried. I feel so much better can eat sit up and move without pain. I you are in the same situation as I was I would go see your specialist and ask for an ultra sound and drainage tape. It has really turned my day around.

Best wishes and sending positive vibes - I’ve spoken with the help line they are wonderful. Saw specialist yesterday lots of positives with bloods test 2 weeks post first chemo. Starting to come off steroids so hopefully that will make me feel better. Off for ultra sound this afternoon praying they find lots of fluid to drain as the will certainly make my stomach shrink, thanks all

- Sleepiness is VERY normal during chemo. I didn’t have liver cancer, but chemo made me feel full whilst at the same time, the steroids made me hungry. It was very strange. Does this help at all?
- Having to sleep most of the day away and the heaviness of the enlarged stomach due to the liver cancer
- This is going to sound silly of me, but what symptoms are you referring to?
