Hi,
I have only just seen your message. I have been on Aromasin for 9 months. Letrozole didn't agree with me at all. I had mild Dupuytrens in in my right hand, little finger, for at least 5 years but it has become a lot worse over the past months. It does become painful. I have trigger finger in my ring finger, same hand. It is the same for me, I can’t hold the steering wheel of my car well or open a jar with a tight lid. Any action that requires grip hurts. I've got 'the claw'. Its continually getting worse.
I had my surgery at the Mater also . Both the surgeon and my oncologist and based at the Poche centre and I have the greatest of trust in them.
I have spoken with a good hand surgeon but its obviously not worth having surgery until I stop taking Aromasin.
How are you coping now? Did you try radiation? any success?
