Hi there @Capricorn68,
Not much I can add to
the already great comments here….
i found the first five-six weeks on Anastrozole very difficult and scary. Like you, I didn’t feel like myself and the low mood like nothing I’d experienced before. I was horrible to my husband and that just made me feel worse. I didn’t see my GP because I clung onto the hope that these side effects would be temporary; however I did make an appointment to see a psychologist. The good news is I feel back to my normal self now, by and large. I’ve been on Anastrozole for three months now. So hang in there and try to eat well, exercise, sleep well and stay in the moment.
