I started getting Prolia injections every six months since mid 2017. I had previously had three separate rib fracture in different ribs, and all three without a fall or injury. After chemo and then surgery, my bone density was checked prior to starting letrozole. I was found to have osteoporosis in some bits and borderline osteopaenia / osteoporosis in other areas, which was no surprise. My bone density has now stabilised with slight improvement, which is better than more deterioration. I've had no more fractures. I've found that I do get a migraine type headache on the second or third day after the injection, and have been told that some people do get a delayed reaction. I take a couple of paracetemol, and lie down in a darkened room for a few hours, and it passes. No other problems whatsoever.
