Oncologist visit yesterday, am being pulled off Arimidex for 6 weeks..

Mel I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I'm on Arimidex too and know exactly what you mean about walking like an 80 year old! I really hope my house never burns down in the middle of the night (funny the things we think about isn't it!) because I will be stuck  s l o w l y  crawling out of my bed. 
Your doctor has stopped Arimidex for 6 weeks so don't give up yet. I have read (can't remember where?!?! - thanks chemo brain) that it can take a while for the side effects to go away.
