Letrozole
Hello everyone, i saw my GP again today and raised my concern with my white blood cell count dropping and he's ordered another blood test in a months time, but also mentioned that it maybe Letrozole causing the drop...I'm 5 years in with 3 to go 🙃 has anyone else's white blood cells drop on letrozole or AI? Thank you Nellie x

- TinksMemberLetrozole is known to have this side effect. Low white cells mean you maybe vulnerable to infection, so Make sure you have a thermometer at home, and if you feel unwell or feverish take your temperature, and report to your GP if it is elevated. It hasn’t caused this problem for me, so far, but it certainly raised my cholesterol and I had to go on a statin to return it to normal. It also causes bone thinning. Hope is goes ok. Xx Tinks.

Bad luck about all this. I completed my ten years on Letrozole earlier this year with no
issues about blood at all. Best wishes for resolving the problem.
