Kiwi Angel. Know what you mean. I told my oncologist I don't plan on becoming a dried up old prune. Got to think positive. 

@Romla. I have joined - as yet (fingers and toes crossed) I haven’t had any issues all through chemo. Hopefully it will be the same on the tablets. 

@"Kiwi Angel" there is a group on the blog called Let’s talk about vaginas that might help and they had a very interesting online chat session with an expert in the field of sexual issues after breast cancer treatment -might be worth a readers about vaginal atrophy.

@Blondy that is one of my fears the whole libido thing. Hubby and I have been together for a long time so we aren’t at it like rabbits but I don’t want to be doing it once a month and struggling to do it once a month because I am dry or atrophied!!

Kezmusc that is an awful lot to deal with. It is all so individual. 
55Jlz personally I'm taking everything that's offered. Considering oestrogen fed my cancer I'm not letting any other hungry critters feed off of  me so pulling it from the food chain with Letrozole. I hate reading anything that says it may make you lose your  libido that I've become horny as hell. So go stick that in your pipe Letrozole.

I am 46.  Yes, I can change to Zoladex and Exemestane or whatever it is.  Onc seems to think that if the tamoxifen is knocking me around like this then the side effects from the others will be worse....

I bought a really high orthopedic mattress that helps a little with scrambling out of bed,  bit sick of going arse up when I do a loo run..LOL 
At least I know if I go off the tamoxifen the side effects reverse fairly swiftly so I have little breaks from it every so often.

Yes @"Kiwi Angel" that is a f****ng long time.  Grrr.  I shall persevere for as long as I can. 

 I'm trying various combinations of vitamins, lotions and potions and hopefully I can get a concoction that works.  I've been speaking with a couple of ladies on the the U.K.  forum that are having all the same problems and they have given me some ideas to try.

.... How old are you  both?  I was expecting to be on Tamoxifen (only one mentioned from Day 1) but as I am 65 & post menopausal, I ended up on Letrozole - just ticking over 4 weeks now - for 5 years.  Are you able to change meds?  (Definitely ask when you see your Onc.)  Some on Letrozole have less side effects - others have similar to Tamoxifen.

I can really relate to that 'can't move' thing in bed .... I am noticing the aches & pains are worse in the early hours of the morning ..... I have my bed set quite high - so I am almost standing as I get out (I sort of roll out of bed to a standing position!) .....  I don't have to 'weight bear' by using hips & knees when I get out of bed.  It works for me!  (Also get a better view of the garden!  ;) )  I am taking Panadol Osteo morning & night ... not sure if it is making any difference tho.  I have some Indocid that I could try - an anti inflam I was given for my pericarditis.

Hoping you are all going OK on whatever treatment you are currently going thru xxx   Let's KICK BUTT!

Everyone is different, I had a recurrence on Tamoxifen and since treatment finished have been on Arimidex and now Aromasin. I had zero side effects on Tamoxifen and quite a bit on the others, but I feel its due to chemo too. Its a tough question, nobody has to take them, for me though? I'd sooner know for a few side effects I gave myself the best chance of not risking another recurrence. Hugs xoxo

PS Im still in pain alot I admit, though I take magnesium in water daily with Vit D. I also take Panadol osteo and I find thats enough to settle things.
