@MvB ....I agree with @melclarity - no-one knows when/if it will hit!! My husband was a top level Age Group triathlete/athlete with 50+ years of training/competing at world level .... but he was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2010 - and had 3/4 of his stomach removed with chemo afterwards. He was back competing 6 months after surgery!! And he is still bouncing around today (he has a Tri Comp at the end of March!) & was still competing internationally ( in World Triathlon Championships 2 years ago ....) with 2 golds and 1 silver!
They seriously DO NOT KNOW why we get this bloody disease (we are now a 100% cancer household!) - tho you have been unluckier than most :(
He has never knowingly eaten anything that is not 'good for him'!! Go figure! Weird!
