Tamoxifen and ulcers
Hi! Has anyone experienced lip ulcers (not inside the mouth) when starting tamoxifen?

Hi Summer2025 give tge kenolog a few days. Mine got worse before it got better. I had to keep applying it and drink plenty of water. I hope you get some relief soon
Hi Summer2025, Not from tamoxifin but other treatment, i have had ulcers in the corner of my lips. I used ulcer oinment such as kenolog and it helped. Maybe see your gp about it as it can ge a sign of low immunity. Best wishes
ThanksCath62 . I saw the gp yesterday, he is querying a reaction to tamoxifen however the fill in holiday oncologist who hasn’t seen me says it isn’t. GP gave me kenolog cream but it’s made it worse. Don’t feel run down, bloods all look good, the only thing that has changed is starting tamoxifen on Boxing Day. Feeling very sore and frustrated!
