chemo dose 4

Hi

This morning I go in for my 4th round of TC - hope they get the vein first go. thats always a good start. So happy this is the last one - just then have to ride out the side effects.

I have a CT scan on thursday for my radiotherapy which is scheduled to start on the 8th July. Should be finished on 30 July. We have a weekend in sydney booked to celebrate - yay.

Then I will start my tamoxifen after that.

So looking forward to the end of the treatment and then trying to get my body back in shape.

Hope everyone is going well.

Marg xx

  • Marg, I hope everything is ok about your bloods tomorrow. Imagine, a finish date for your chemo & radio treatment! How wonderful! Take care & sleep well Mary x
  • Hi

Chemo went as usual - got the vein first time! I have been having a really warm bath of my arm and it brings the veins out. so that was great. When I got home had a message from my GP's surgery to come down to talk about my bloods. hope its not bad news - if it was to do with the cancer I think that the oncologist would have called. fingers crossed. I already had an appt with my gp tomorrow so not long to wait to hopefully set my mind at ease.

  • Yay for no chemo hope ure side effects are not bad my last ac is tommorrow yay no more then I'm onto the hormone treatment hope everything goes well
  • Hi Marg

Having a hot chocolate or hot coffee while in the waiting room definitely help to locate the vein, especially now in the cold season.

I'll having my last 6th TC(H) this coming Friday, and I'll meet the Radio this Thursday to release my 6weeks treatment schedule.  I had H-which is Herceptin for ongoing 1 year till Mar 2015, while I have to go with Tamoxifen for 5 years too....

Time fly and the treatment is finishing, hope everyone is well and get back on track.

    Good luck.
