As someone who has a bit of survivorship on the ledger, I am not sure about the secret handshake stuff, but remember only a relatively small percentage of the people who have had and survive breast cancer are using this website. Survivers are all around you. Maybe the badges need to be worn by those who wish to reach out - Hi, I'm a breast cancer surviver too.
