I've raised the oil question with my GP. I got the feeling that while she gives it her tacit agreement "If you can get someone else to prescribe it, I'll support you taking it,' her practice is not keen to get actively involved and none of them are licenced prescribe it. I suspect there might be a bit of small town political stuff going on and as none of the established doctors are taking new patients they may not think it's worth while.
Personally, I probably don't need it now. Aromasin is easier on my body than the other two and I've made a concerted effort to improve my strength and flexibility. I also avoid wheat as I think it makes me feel worse, both bloated and swollen. My thumbs still lock occasionally, my feet feel weird and I'm never sure what is going to ache next, but overall it's not bad enough for me to be bothered either pressuring my onc or GP or trying to find another practitioner. I'll save that for the next time the shit hits the fan. Mxx
