I'm late joining in this conversation but I was on Letrozole straight after chemo 5yrs ago & could hardly walk, it was horrible. After another drug didn't work I was on Tamoxifen which was great for me but when the brain tumour appeared last October I was taken off it. Also due to a long plane trip to the UK I had to stop taking it in case of DVT. Recently I was put back on Letrozole & I was so fatigued I'd just lie on the lounge crying all the time so took myself off for a few days rest. Then I went back on it & surprisingly the fatigue didn't come back & the crying is more other things going on in my life than the tablets.
A lady in my cancer support group begged me to stay on it as she said it has given her extra years of life which wasn't expected but she does have fatigue with it. As she's on her fourth year she has only one year left of taking it so it's not worth her stopping it.
I hope that helps others having trouble with it, I have no clue why the fatigue didn't return after the break though.
