Drug holiday over, today I started taking Letrozole again. At night this time. Don't know that it will make any difference but worth a try. If/when (she said optimistically) the side effects return...

@"Kiwi Angel" I went into sudden onset menopause within 6 months of my daughter’s birth at age 40.It was horrific - couldn’t add up a row of numbers , couldn’t follow a recipe , hot flushes causing insomnia ,couldn’t drive a car etc - the mental impacts were shocking esp trying to continue my career and raise a young child.At least these days menopause is discussed openly in the community and we have this forum to share . It does ease and you do get “used” to it but takes a while.In the meantime you do what you can to survive - unfortunately I chose HRT which is probably why I had breast cancer.
