I was reflecting the other day (in front of the mirror actually - hah), about the impact of Letrozole... My onc said when he prescribed it, that the intention was that I would be on it for 5 years and then we would discuss the current research and decide whether to stop or continue until 7 or 10 years. My question for him in May will be whether he was really just saying 5 years because the thought of a longer time frame at this stage would be untenable. If it is 5 years, I have completed 1/10 of the time and I can possibly just imagine finishing it (as long as the hands don't get worse) - staying on for longer is not imaginable.
