Agree @Zoffiel. It's penance for getting through the rest of it not too badly LOL.
It does stand to reason that if you aren't having too many problems your probably just getting on with life and not posting abut not having any problems.
Half the mind blow is that nobody really knows if they are going to work anyway. Will you become resistant to it, will it mutate and find another way to grow, do you have the dodgy genes that inhibit the effectiveness of these drugs. Like the rest of it, no definitive answers as to how you'll respond.
This makes it very difficult to decide whether or not the effects on your body, finances (if the side effects limit your ability to work) and general impact on your daily life, sex life and mental well being is worth the agro.
I am sure if it was a definitive "take this and it will never come back" we'd probably just put up and shut up, but it's not that cut and dry.
I think the vast majority of people will give it a crack if that's what's been recommended regardless of what we say. At the beginning your too fearful not to I reckon and there are plenty of people who will jump on and give a more positive side to the conversation.
For the rest of us held to ransome by these preventative treatment It becomes a personal choice as to how much you're willing to sacrifice for a maybe. What long term effects, that may not be reversible eventually, and are not fully understood as yet you are betting on and whether the quality of life you have for the next decade is acceptable. Only you can answer that one.
Consisitently confused  xoxoxo
