Saw my oncologist yesterday - lovely man. He said that the leg aches sound like post-chemo stuff rather than the Letrozole and it's going to take a while for the taxol to work it's way out of my system. He said there's not much that can be done for the fluid retention (and that will be exacerbating the aching legs) but that getting back to strength with activity should sort it out. He's given me the okay to take panadol as needed (I really don't like taking stuff like that every day) and I see him again in 8 weeks. On the plus side, my bone density test came back as good, measured against my age and younger (whatever that means).
