A side effect Chart for most of the Hormone/AI tablets ... on one page

Oh bugger!  That’s a shame, @MicheleR  :(  It shouldn’t last all the time tho .... mine comes and goes and moves from one part of the body to another!  Winter doesn’t help, either!  I’ve been forgetting to take the magic oil too (hmmmm, it may explain my sleepless nights! Grrr) I need to order some more!  

Just keep doing everything that you love doing ....

re the vaginal atrophy ... sadly, you’ll know immediately, if/when you have it!  Think ‘razor blades’ ... :( 
 

@MicheleR eeeeeeeek! I've been on medication for 10 years now :/ I started on Tamoxifen in 2011 after my 1st diagnosis, suffered a recurrence in spite of that and rads. Put onto Arimidex in 2015 and switched to Aromasin in 2016 and here I am LOL. I have to laugh as I am, lets just say OVER IT LOL. I'm in pain everyday, I dont know what is normal anymore tbh but yes I still take it because I dont like the alternative I suppose ;) I too am on blood pressure meds I'm 53. There's alot of side effects I do have, but there are some too that I don't. It is super individual and some don't really have any. 

Unfortunately, I have a long list of issues that have arisen from medication and different treatments. I think Ive just assimilated to the new normal, odd isn't it? LOL sense of humor you have to have if nothing else! :D

Im on aromasin. For the first month i didnt know what you were talking about re soreness.  Now I know. Kinda creeps up on you. I woke up one day and my shoulders hurt. By the end of the week other joints hurt. I imagine it feels a bit like arthritis. On cold days my knees start aching out of nowhere. Im 49. Now on blood pressure meds too. Im too scared to look up vaginal atrophy....im guessing i dont have it.

The list ‘looks’ confronting - but most people usually get a hand full of symptoms at any one time.  My own ones come and go!  At one stage, my hands were useless ... but ok now!

Not every one gets sore joints - miserable for those who do, but as I plough through my ninth year (sigh!), I never have. No idea why but I think it’s worth trying first to see how it works for you. 

Just thought I would put in a positive update here for those starting Femara - I have been on it for 1 month now, and I actually feel great. I do get mild flushes but I was getting those anyway before I started, because coming off HRT. I lost a couple of kilos without trying since I’ve been on it so it does not seem to be causing weight gain, and so far no sore joints - touch wood. No problems sleeping. Was a little bit of nausea at the beginning but all good now. I’m very relieved so far. Will keep an eye on the bone density, and must remember to keep up the weight bearing exercise for that.

And don't forget - NOT EVERYONE GETS ANY OR ALL of these Side Effects ......

Some additions have only been requested by the ONE PERSON ....... so would be much 'rarer' to get than the others!!

In general - the ones with 'fewer x' (ie 1 or 2) are the "less requested ones".
