A side effect Chart for most of the Hormone/AI tablets ... on one page
I found this chart a while back, when researching Hormone Therapy/AI side effects - and thought this a good one with most of the oestrogen blocking meds on the one page, in groups, & showing 'most' of the side effects in an easy to read format.
Please note - I wrote the 4 'boxes' of info along the top - with the alternative tablet names and explanations of the different groups of tablets.
If you have MORE symptoms than listed here, feel free to add to the list in the comments below! (I can even add more dots if you like!)
For Aromasin/Exemestane - I can add:
Dry Eyes
Extreme Hand and thumb pain
Hand and thumb weakness - inability to hold/open things - I can't even tear open an envelope!
Weight gain
Occasional Back Pain (that I will be keeping an eye on!)

- Nah, @Zoffiel - it's the porridge!! It would kill most people (or they think it would! ;) ) I quite enjoy it in winter!! LOL

- @afraser my mother always attibutes surviving medical disasters that would kill most people to her Scottish ancestry. There must be something in the water over there :)
- The lists are daunting. - but side effects continue to be variable. 6 years on femara - depression? No. Dry eyes, mouth, skin? No. No cough, no bone pain, no aches. I have an arrythmia (predates femara) but have no incidents and the condition has steadily improved. Libido? Not good, but must acknowledge there was some diminishing before bc and age is almost certainly a factor too. Vaginal atrophy? Did not exist before femara, so much less inclined to say it's coincidental. Just for the record.

I am on Tamoxifen and would add insomnia, leg cramps, vaginal atrophy, brain fog, hand and thumb pain. - Right hand, right hip but left ankle @arpie. My left side clams up cos it compensates for the right. I have a wonderful time when i see my osteo 😖
- Ooooh ..... mention the ‘no cardio incidences’ since going off Letrozole to your Onc, @Brenda5 .... that one takes priority over all others!
I have a cough again ... but had one for 4-6 months before I was diagnosed too, so can’t blame mine on the meds, tho it has come back.
Hmmmm .... My dry ‘eye’ is my left one. My sorest hand is my left one. My sore hip is the left one ..... is anyone else ‘taking sides’ wth their side effects? - Now I am on a break from Letrozole and only on heart tabs I can tell what was pure Letrozole (Femara) side effects. Dry eyes, mouth and skin. Depression. Libido gone. Cough. Bone pain. I can't read the rest of my writing as I wrote it down with my right hand and my left one which I write with has stitches atm. I will go back on to the Letrozole after my cardio stress test but dang its been good not being on it! Oh just realised too, not one cardio incident since I went off the Letrozole. Hmmmm.
- Yeah - it is huge - almost anything they can think of, @kmakm . I'll probably stick with those side effects that members want added to it .... the ones they hate the most!
Yes, I wonder if the fatigue is mainly due to the lack of sleep/insomnia @Artferret ? Makes sense, some of it, anyway. - @kmakm

I can closely relate to the general swelling, dry mouth, thirst...the last two was me today and it wasn't even a gym day! And while we're at it lets add fatigue and insomnia, though fatigue is usually related to lack of quality sleep 😶😫😴
