It is with great sadness that I wish to inform you ladies that last night one of our members Rita Peterson passed away, unfortunately Rita's breast cancer progressed to brain cancer.we have beautiful memories of being part of Rita's bc journey. I remember Rita's first time with us she cried and cried. Our last lunch with her we laughed and all enjoyed each other's company. Please take a minute and think of Rita as we are at this time. Life is precious
Yes it's the disbelief, we were all very numb, I think most of us broke down. Several will be attending her funeral on Thursday.and then all going out together.
Hi Adean, how sad for your group and Rita's family. We lost a lovely lady in our bc group in March. It was so unexpected and it left us all shocked, scared and sad. We'll make a donation to BCNA in her name.xx
