The months of June (scans) and December (clinic checkups) are off limits for planning anything. If December checkup is fine then I will plan on going somewhere from January to May. If June scan is fine then August to November. Silly I know however I will not jinks anything. My cancer was found 6 weeks before we were due to go on an escorted 19 day tour of NZ. I changed the trip dates 3 times from May, to November and finally September to suit others. That's what you get for being "too nice" and trying to please everyone. Never again!
