Speaking of roses, I'm going to get up and plant the 4 Dr Lincoln roses that a friend struck for me a couple of months ago. It's taken me weeks to prepare the new garden (which is why they are going in a bit late) but by tmoz arvo it will be a new view out the back gate.
I might even get the ground marking paint out and start planning for the next stage--another garden and laying about 2500 pavers through what will be my outdoor bath area. Yep, I'm putting an old cast iron bath in a private spot so I can sit in it in the evening in the summer. Poor woman's pool :)
Life can still be good. Everything takes a long time to do now, but one shovel full of dirt at a time, I'll get there eventually.
