this is certainly a post with a difference.
Its a hard call, my husband and I are 2nd timers too and are about to celebrate our 12th anniversary.
I am very verbose and Michael is the quiet one, he hates confrontation of any kind, were as I have a need to resolve issues.
I think if you have done something wrong, own it, apologise for it and endevour not to make the same mistake again then move on.
I think we accept our partner for who they are and not compare as everyone has there good and bad points. My sister always complains that her husband never cooks, however the maqintenance on their property is always perfect, he comes home from work and gets straight into the yard. So I think what they miss out on in one area they gain in another.
Find time for each other is another important point, and its easy once your famly has grown, I accept that. But its important for couple to stay connected I think.
Anyway, happy anniversary to you both.
