Things that make you smile take 2

I spent a lovely afternoon with my grandson who was celebrating his 4th birthday.  My husband & I had bought him a toy truck complete with bulldozer & fork lift.  He was very excited and he said "come & sit down on the floor Nan & play with me because your very friendly".  If only he knew how hard it is for a Nan of 69 years to hop down on the floor & play especially when you have cancer in the spine & hips, but because I am very friendly as he said,I made a big effort.  Just needed some help to get up again. I would just like to wish everyone a happy Christmas Hoping you are well enough to enjoy your day with friends & family.  Love from Wendy h 67

    i just wanted to say, what beautiful memories you are giving your grandson and also teaching him the happiness there is in giving.

    What a lovely day for you - and wasn't the floor a great place to be instead of being above your darling grandson ?

    Keep that memory and bring it out on any 'bad' days.

    That is so nice that your grandson wants you to get down on the floor and play with him, priceless. I don't have any grandchildren but my sister tells me it is a wonderful time to enjoy. It is always harder to get up off the floor than to get downxx
