The Beaconess

Great work Sherone.  Love the poem, love Lyn and love BCNA. 

I would like like to share my little "pay it forward" too.

Sherone was actually the volunteer at the chemo ward when I was receiving my treatment.  I was the shy bald one that spent my whole time crying, I was scared and missed my family and children who were not there cause we had to travel for chemo.  I was the only young one amongst all the older people (no offence to older people).  And then out of no where a breath of fresh air appeared .....it was our very own Sherone who told me that she too had been where I was and she looked great.

She gave me hope that there was a life after Breast Cancer and hope that I could survive this and maybe I could give hope to someone like she had given to me.

So ladies, never underestimate the power of the shadow you create!!  And thankyou to all the amazing women like Sherone that make a difference and inspire others to inspire..
