Hi Adean,
I had Prolia injections for almost 5 years - 9 in all, given 6-monthly. After the 9th injection I had bone and joint pain so badly in my hips and thighs that I could barely walk in the mornings. My MO and my GP have taken me off the injections permanently. (I am not frail - I walk on the treadmill at 6.1 for 35 minutes every day and have always been very fit and limber after years of exercise and yoga.) I really sympathise with the pain you are feeling - as Mel says, Panandol Osteo really helps. On the plus side, my bone density improved noticeably, and as I have osteopaenia that was a big plus. I also read that it was a good deterrent against bone cancer mets, but the effects caught up with me. Tried mega-magnesium but didn't help. Since my last shot in December, the pain has finally vanished.
Just wanted you to know that you aren't the only one it affected. Hope it soon clears up for you. xx
