Hi, wondering if anyone can help, have booked a trip to Europe in May, 2013, flying Etihad and touring with Trafalgar and with upcoming chemo and radiation I will obviously have to either cancel or postphone the trip. My Mum was travelling with us and whilst our Travel Insurance will cover us I doubt if she will be covered. Has anyone had any experience if they have postphoned the trip does it end up costing an arm and a leg with extra fees and charges for the changes and then what happens to the exisiting travel insurance, can it just be changed to the new date?. At this stage to cancel we will lose $1000 each, which I'm guessing we can claim back from insurance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
