And the perfect Garden 'chair' .... - Thanks @iserbrown. It's 2 weeks tomorrow since the rain bomb and we have been cleaning non stop. It will be months before repairs to house are done but at least we are ok. Thanks for caring.

Goodness it's sad to read what happened to your home and garden
Take care - Thanks @Locksley, @arpie and @June1952. The garden will take time and we have started repair on it yet. There were lots of debris and branches down so we have done a tip run. The biggest issue for us is the first floor of our home. We had a living area and bedroom flood affected. Floating timber boards ruined, furniture and soft furnishings all ruined. Step by step we will get there. It is exhausting really and heartbreaking. Thank you all for your kind words.
- Oh, @Cath62, that is soul destroying and today you have even more rain. As @arpie says, stay safe and then do it bit by bit, you will get there. As long as you and your family are safe, gardens can be repaired over time. Thinking of you. 💖

- Oh Cath, as an avid gardener I am devastated for you. My garden is constantly evolving, however only by degrees, never in one foul swoop.Time for a milk crate to sit on, a pair of cutters of your choice, a wheelbarrow, gardening gloves, a good mug of whatever spurs you on and attack the damage.The biggest and warmest of Kimberley hugs to you.
