@Brenda5 If you're comfortable with that wait and that uncertainty, that's your choice. However, this should not be happening and you shouldn't have to tolerate the uncertainty. The Centrelink guy needs to understand what the process SHOULD be. It should be very straightfoward. If you have to wait longer than you want to, or if you don't get the result you deserve, don't hesitate to take the political route. That's what electorate offices are there for - to SERVE you. They have the power to work wonders. I know one electorate officer who got an 80 year-old blind woman's electricity restored within a couple of hours when the energy company wouldn't respond.
