New word I learned, Anhedonia.

I read the doctors medical certificate for me to centerlink which said ongoing oncology treatment and depression but there was a word i have no idea what it meant. Anhedonia:  is the inability to experience pleasure from activities usually found enjoyable, e.g. exercise, hobbies, singing, sexual activities or social interactions.

    Very glad I don't seem to have Anhedonia - right now anyway :) Learn something new everyday don't we, I will make this my new word for the week.. Cate

    Wow! Wonder if there’s another word for “chemo brain” then Brenda as that’s what you need to put in your letters hey xx

    OK, that's a new one. It sounds like a pretty reasonable description of the general lack of interest many of us experience. It's all to bloody hard and what is the point if you don't enjoy it anyway. Being a hedonist from way back, I get it. Marg xx
