Made it to 5 years!
Today is my 5 year anniversary of surgery in 2012!
I think that's the day you take it from, even though treatment continued until the end of the year the actual cancer was cut out and gone on April 16th.
It's such a biggie, and I know not one of my friends and family will remember - but you all know how big it is!
This post is to give all our new sisters encouragement - all those day-by-day steps, our fears and our pain, our courage, just hanging in there at times - I hope it will help to read some good news.
I am somewhere between joy and bursting into tears.

- Hi Michelle great time 5 years and yes family and friends are great during treatment but they don't think about how you feel when you reach such a big milestone. I love to hear of these milestones it keeps us all plugging on for our own 5 years. Happy dance going on here for you xx
