No i didn't have reconstruction I had breast conserving surgery and that all went really well. Fortunately for me whilst doing scans etc they found a tumour on my left kidney, I had renal cencer too. Who knew a second primary, so I had major surgery having my kidney removed.
Breast cancer saved my life as my kidney tumour was bad.
These days I am very good, I've been back at full-time work forabout 14 months, we bought a little holiday place and when I am not working I really enjoy my down time.
