Well a nurse I am. Panadol osteo is just a slow release paracetamol which you take x 3 times daily which can give better pain management. Over a 24 hour period it actually is slightly less paracetamol (3990 mg) than taking 2 normal panadol tablets x 4 times daily (4000mg ) ...which is the maximum recomnended safe levels for your liver.
Personally even post op I found osteo better as you didn't get the "wearing off pain" and waiting for "it to kick in" pain management which you get with traditional panadol.
It can be easier with osteo as you don't have to remember to take it as often and for many just a twice daily dose can provide good coverage for chronic pain.
