Hormone receptive breast cancer
Hi there I'm having surgery on the 18th May on right breast to remove lumps. How much time off work so people usually have? I'm having a breast reduction at the same time. Regards Tracey
Hi @Trikki2, and welcome. Every person is different, and our reactions to surgery are also different. It could also depend on the sort of work you do. I had a Wide local excision and full node clearance, then a re-excision a few days later. I had a total of 4 weeks off after surgery, as I was in a pretty physical job at the time. Some only have a couple of weeks off.
