Great weather, NOT...
Well, arrived here safely and was greeted by nasty wet cold weather. Kind of appropriate, suits my mood.
Spent time with my dad last night, he isn't there anymore, just seems like a shell on a bed....
Oh Ree, this all brings back memories, i feel so much for you right now. just be there for you and Dad ignore the rest of the crap.say what needs to be said to Dad and just let him know you love him. he will know.
my Dad had a massive stroke and was like a baby he didnt supposedly know what was going on according to the doctors.but i just talked to him normal.. i told him i loved him kissed him and said if he wanted to go to mum we would be fine. a tear rolled down his face. i know he heard me.
the next morning he had died peacefully.
it must be so hard for you with all your own hassles and having to deal with this and family too. i am with you in spirit. stay strong for yourself. the rest will be sorted out later.
i know when my Dad passed away the bull shit that went on was pathetic but do what you can while you can, but remember YOU. when all is said and done you can't let the small crap get to you. trust me i have times when i let crap get to me and once i think about it i know how silly it is, at the moment it is about you and dad.
keep me posted . you can call me any time if you need too. Fran
