Just wanted to add to Daina's welcome. it is always a blur when you hear the words "you have cancer".
I was diagnosed in 2007 when my children were young and had a mastecomy and chemo. I did not have radiation because I chose to have a mastcomy. It meant not being away from home for 6 weeks.
In time, it will all be behind you. I am hoping someone with Radiation experience can pop in and give you some tips.
Take care of yourself and give yourself time to process all that is happening.
