Gel nails

Hi girls, I will be having chemo soon and want to know what to do with my nails. I have gel nails that need doing but I have been holding off until I know what to do. Can I still have gel nails or should I get them off and cut shorter and just use a good nail hardener until after treatment. I have googled this, but it is unconclusive as to what is recommended, so I thought I would ask you all. Thanking you Wendy

    I will be starting chemo soon to and my Oncologist said to paint my nails with dark blue or black nail polish, and leave it on just touch up when needed.
