Free holiday accommodation Otis Foundation

Ladies, I have posted a couple of times about the Otis Foundation who offer free retreat accommodation for breast cancer sufferers and their families.  I have taken advantage of this offer and had one of the best week's of my life at a time in my life when I needed it the most.  I stayed at a beautiful house at Pearl Beach - stunning (for free)!!

As a breast cancer patient you are entitled to two holidays.  Here is link:

  • Wow,

thats all I can say. Never knew that existed and was available. What a wonderful thing to have for people .

  • Hi Andrea, it is a wonderful foundation.  How charitable!  It is so lovely to know people offer their homes for us and our families to have a nice break.  The house I stayed in at Pearl Beach on the Central Coast of NSW was absolutely superb.  I hope you don't have to wait too long.   Suex

  • How lovely Sue. Just what you needed by the sounds of it.  I have contacted them up here in qld but they are booked out so am on a waiting list. Here's hoping

    Andrea xo

  • I don't think you have to be in treatment. You should make contact with them.

  • Wow, I wish I had known about this when O was going through treatment etc.

there is even one near me.

  • The properties are beautiful.  I don't know where you are from but we stayed at a property at Pearl Beach on the Central Coast of NSW - stunning!  Like most of us I didn't know this Foundation existed and come across it accidentally.  Suex

  • That is a lovely thing for you to do Karen.  Very selfless. Suex

  • Thanks for sharing this - I am new to the world of BC and did not know about it.  I will be taking up the offer.  Kris

  • Glad you had a nice break sue. I haven't taken advantage of this as we have timeshare that we can use each year so I feel it's important to leave it for others who could not get a break without it. I've heard many wonderful things about it though. Karen
