Five year bc ladies
There is so much wonderful support and information on this site from those going thru bc treatment. Just wondering if those who have gotten past the 5 year milestone might occasionally check back in ....
Hi @Romla, I have passed the 5 year mark since surgery, and in 2 weeks it will be 5 years since finishing chemo. The Oncologist will probably finish the annual appointments then. It will be strange not to have check-ups with him. Life is busy, healthy, and like Jane, I don't come online regularly any more, so very glad to see your post. It has helped to keep active physically as well as mentally - I am probably fitter now than before diagnosis, although always an exerciser. You are right - it does help to read stories with positive outcomes - they meant a lot to me, too, in the past years. I wish you all the very best.
