Compression Garments

Hi all.  Ten weeks ago I had DIEP flap breast reconstruction surgery which all went well.  I have been progressing along great although I am curious how long everyone was wearing their compression garments or binder for.  I tried to go a day without wearing it and found my stomach area to be sore and feeling quite hard and contracted.  Is this normal? Do I need to wear the compression pants for a longer period of time? Thank you.  Sue
