Today the Admins from my Group had a catch-up/ coffee afternoon and were very supportive of the ideas I have to engage our group members more in on line communication, bringing up issues which never seem to get discussed fully and taking steps to proceed with results in communication which will pass on more information about issues discussed.
Hello Di, It sounds like you are making good progress with communicating. The Group I assist with does not have formal meetings as we are a social group on the net, but since the summit I feel more confidant to pass on information to all the ladies. We also meet for lunches and Dinners, so the conversation continues there, because we are not formal with our communication does not mean we are not in touch, our group chats every day and night on our chat room which keeps me very busy, which I enjoy, Dianne.

I'm making some progress with introducing new ideas to my local support group, too. I emailed a one page report of my Summit experiences to our group leader who has emailed a copy to all members - encouraging them to become more connected to our BCNA group page/local services and to join the online network.
I also sent a copy of my report to our local breast cancer nurse who is organising a regional BC Forum later in the year. Am hoping to show short promo of BCNA online network on big screen at this event, to facilitate awareness and discussion.
So worthwhile sharing BCNA messages. Helping just one person and or family means so much to me. I know the big difference it has made in my life, too.
