Christmas and New Year is here again.

I would just like to say a huge thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to all the people who are a part of BCNA and to all my beautiful pink sisters. I feel you are all a part of my family and you have been there and supported me throughout the last 12 months while I have been on my journey. I can honestly say I don't think I would have come through it so well if I didn't have you all to talk to, query, seek knowledge, give me support and understanding. And especially when I spent that 7 weeks away from home for my radiation. I needed you all to be there for me every day and you were. Thank you with all my heart.

You will continue to be a huge part of my life every day. As my life gets busier now that I am able to do more I may not blog as often but I will still be thinking of you all every day, checking in to your posts whenever I can and wishing you all the best of everything possible. But I can assure you I will still be around and needing your love and support regularly :-)

I am hoping you all have a very special Christmas and an even bigger and better New Year and a fantastic 2013.

Lots of love, hugs and kisses to you all and your friends, family and loved ones at this very special time of year.

    Hi Mitch,  I remember when you first started blogging.  How time has changed you.  I watched and read as you became "stronger" and started offering support to others - and it was great support.  This is the best online support ever.  We all start looking for support and become support givers.  What a wonderful gift that we can give back to others.  Our Pink Sister Group is such a blessing in my life.  I treasure the "friends" that I have met on this site (including yourself) and at the BCNA training and conferences.  We have been dealt some "bad shit" but we have also gained sooooo much from the experience.  I know that I am a much better person who now can "spread" my love to others.  I have never known such sincere friendship.  Go out and "Grab handfuls of Life" you have gained your Stripes!!!!!!     Thank you Leone for your beautifl and kind words. Just what i needed to read today. For some reason I am struggling today. I was sooooo looking forward to bringing in the New Year but unfortunately that has been taken away from me with my poor Miss Bundy. I am going to make it just another day and keep staying strong and fighting to see me through my next stages in my life. I can celebrate I am fit and well again and I can celebrate I have one beautiful granddaughter and another one to be born any day plus another grandee due in April. I can celebrate I have so many beautiful wonderful loving family friends and all my beautiful pink sisters BUT I can't seem to let myself celebrate much today as I know it is going to be a tough few months ahead still with Miss B. I will raise my glass to the New Year and then get up in the morning and carry on doing all the things I have been doing to get myself through the coming months.

    I am so glad of your friendship and for this website. I have grown and become much stronger and a better person for my journey and will continue to give support in any way I can.

    I will grab 2013 by the horns and run with it. Wishing you a wonderful wonderful 2013. Cheers!!!

    Don't worry Mich, I am very strong minded and am endeavouring to make my body as strong BUT I have days as well.  I often stop and wonder "what the hell is happening".  I think at the moment I am extremely tired from all the Xmas celebrations and it does cloud my "normality"a bit.  I have been struggling with death issues a bit of late too.  I am not worried about my death but of others.   I know what it is like to be ill and I hate to think of others being ill and suffering.  It is hard to "switch off" when I know that there are a couple of Pink Sisters doing it "really tough".  Then I switch back to "my story".  We have to live our own life (story) as it has been written for us before we were born and for those who are struggling we can only support them with LOVE.  I hope that piece of advice brings you some peace. XLeonie

    Thank you so much Leonie. I am so grateful for everything in my life. Yeah I guess we are all allowed our downers. The thing that is important is to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and just get on with it hey???
