Birthday

Hi all today is my birthday, this time last year I had no idea what a crap year I was going to have.

I was diagnised mid Febuary and what followed was a difficult year, with chemo, mastectomy and reconstruction. I have only 4 more herceptin after Friday and will be having my first mamogram after treatment.

My life has changed forever, my job I don't enjoy now, as I'm a carer and I have seen to much of the other side.

On the positive side I have had amazing support from friends and family and starting to get back into my new normal ( what am I talking about I have never lived a normal life)

So this birthday I'm glad to be here to celebrate because turning 53 is much better than not being here or being unwell.

So for all that are just starting treatmentt put one foot in front of the other and be kind to yourself and most importantly Laughxx
