I want to punch them too @chevvy Then headbutt them. Maybe a touch of defenestration? That possums invade their roof spaces and fall through the ceiling onto their beds in the middle of the night (that happened to me, it's bloody terrifying)
I had a similar experience when first diagnosed. Apparently I was hysterical and overly concerned about my family history when I found a lump in one boob. My 'surgeon' held that position until I threatened to stand in his waiting room and excavate the issue with a box cutter if he wouldn't do a proper investigation. 'Madam, if I do that you will be unnecessary scarred.' Right. Turned out I had two toxic tits. It makes me wild just remembering it.
Don't start me on shitbird oncologists with elevated opinions of their own worth and competence.
Sadly, making complaints about medical specialists is not usually a satisfying experience. They stick together like shit to collective blankets. Then they try to make it sound like you are off your rocker and must have misunderstood something they told you. Or they deny they told you anything at all.
Anyway, sounds like you are in more competent hands now. Which is good.
