We arrived in Hawaii safely and my husband has broken his toe in 2 places, can't take him anywhere. The cost of visit to the doctor $419 american which is about $500 Australian, thank goodness for insurance. What a great start for our holiday. We complain about our health system but we should be greatful it is better than here.

Oh you lucky duck.....Waikiki beach is busy, try the long boat, they pull up on the beach. It was one of the best things we did, riding waves in a long boat gazing back to the beach. So peaceful but also loads of fun.
Other hawaii things to do: red mustang on Oahu, jeep wrangler on big island, volcano bike ride in Maui, Bills in Waikiki has the best food and coffee when you are sick of chips and dishwater.....so many things, great memories.

I reckon Mai Tai's need to come with a warning.....sooooooo nice but very powerful! take care.

Oh Dear that's a shame about your husband. I think a nice relax on the beach is in order.
