Thanks Anne-Marie, I'm glad the post helped in some small way. I'm generally a positive person too but treatment and all the emotional stuff that goes with breast cancer can really make you question everything and sets up a whole new level of anxiety that most of us have probably never had to face before. I remember after one of my teary sessions with my surgeon asking if I'd live to tell the tale and he gave me such a gentle, kind and compassionate look and said, yes, you will, and that has been one of those moments I have held on to ever since.
